Schneider Electric ensures its commitment to the India growth story

Concludes the five day show at Elecrama 2016

With Elecrama-2016 reaching a successful end, Schneider Electric India announced that it pulled down the curtains with a promise to continue its support in the India growth story with its innovative products and technological expertise. It ended on a high note with the launch of some more critical solutions for the Indian market. With its core theme “Efficiency”, the organisation introduced over 18 products focused at the energy and automation industries.

Summing up the five-day event, Anil Chaudhry, Country President and Managing Director, Schneider Electric India, said, “At a time when India’s power sector is undergoing a paradigm shift, a lot of importance is being given to the development of renewable energy, the country needs to be ready to make use of this opportunity leading to a clean future. Schneider Electric, with its core technological competency in energy management, automation and smart metering, is all set to be a part of this growth story.”

It was a moment of great pride for Schneider Electric that witnessed over 10000 footfall at the SE stall generating an overwhelmingly positive response. Some of the high points during the event included the visit of several high profile government dignitaries who took a tour of the Schneider Electric stall. These included Mr Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy, and Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu.  Schneider Electric displayed the virtues and facilities of its Smart solutions across Energy, Power, Buildings and Solar business. These equipment directly fall in line with the government’s ambitious UDAY and IPDS schemes which aim to reduce T&D losses and revive the stalled power sector.
