SCHMID to deliver 380MWp Wet Chemical Equipment to Youser

The SNEC 8th (2014) conference and exhibition has been a success for SCHMID Group. The company announces the sales of wet chemical equipment for the production of solar cells with an annual capacitiy of 380 MWp to the Photovoltaic Division of Youser Group, a renowned conglomerate in the Shaanxi province in the north west of the People's Republic of China.

The cell factory is planned to reach a capacity of 1 GWp annually, with 500MWp in the first step.

Knowledge transfer for first-class cells:

Dr. Christian Buchner, Vice President of SCHMID's PV business unit, says SCHMID will provide technology as well as knowledge transfer for the wet chemical processes. "We value the order as a trust in our market leadership and in our competitive edge equipment that is crucial for the production of first-class solar cells ". Mr. Jiangfeng Fan, President of Shaanxi Youser Photovoltaic Technology Co. Ltd, remarked that Youser aims at building a Tier1 PV company in China with global recognition. Both parties confirmed their confidence in the upturn of the worldwide Photovoltaics market.
