SBLEO Renewable to Launch 1.2 GW Solar Manufacturing Facility Near Ahmedabad

SBLEO’s upcoming facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art, AI-integrated production lines, focused on manufacturing next-generation solar modules based on advanced technologies such as N-Type, HJT, and Back Contact modules.

SBLEO Renewable Pvt. Ltd. has entered the solar manufacturing space with the announcement of establishing a 1.2 GW fully automated solar module manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Founded by a trio of seasoned industry leaders, the company brings together an combined experience of over 80 years in the energy and solar sectors:

  • Jaydev Mishra, with 28 years in the energy sector and over a decade in solar manufacturing,
  • Vishanth Venkatesh, a professional and industrialist with 20 years of deep domain expertise in solar, and
  • Praful Bavishiya, a veteran industrialist with 35 years of experience, including 15 years in the solar industry.

The upcoming facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art, AI-integrated production lines, focused on manufacturing next-generation solar modules based on advanced technologies such as N-Type, HJT, and Back Contact (BC) modules.

Once operational, the factory is expected to produce high-efficiency, high-bankability solar modules, engineered for durability and stability under the most rigorous international standards. Modules will be tested under a stringent quality regimen, including BIS, III-IEC, UVID, LETID, LID, DML, MLT, Hail Tests, and Dark Storage tests.

Construction of the facility is well underway, with the building phase already completed and Commissioning is targeted for December 2025.

According to a company statement, in a strong vote of confidence, SBLEO has already secured orders for over 75 percent of its production capacity from top-tier customers in India and the United States, primarily for its high-power N-Type modules.
