The State Bank of India (SBI) is poised to sign a EUR 70 million Line of Credit (LoC) with the German Development Bank KfW.

The agreement, set to take place at SBI’s IFSC Gift City Branch in Ahmedabad, marks a transformative step in advancing solar photovoltaics (PV) initiatives across India.

The collaboration, aimed at supporting solar projects, signifies not only SBI's commitment to sustainable energy solutions but also positions India on a trajectory towards increased solar power capacity.

The Line of Credit is tailored to bolster Solar Photovoltaics (PV) projects, aligning seamlessly with the nation’s dedication to clean and renewable energy sources.

This strategic alliance between SBI and KfW underscores a shared vision of promoting sustainable practices and reducing the carbon footprint through solar initiatives.
