Sangam (India) Ltd. has entered into an EPC contract with IB Vogt Solar India Pvt. Ltd. for the installation of a 27 MWp solar power plant for captive consumption in Rajasthan.

The solar project, with an allowable capacity variation of ±5 percent, will be developed at Village Sangarh in Fatehgarh tehsil of Jaisalmer district. The plant is expected to support Sangam India’s energy requirements while advancing its renewable energy and sustainability goals.

The agreement marks Sangam (India)’s strategic move to diversify beyond its core textile operations and enter the fast-growing renewable energy sector, in line with India’s push to expand solar capacity and meet clean energy targets.

IB Vogt Solar contributes its expertise in solar project development, bringing technical capability and execution experience to ensure smooth implementation of the project. The partnership combines the strengths of both companies to deliver a large-scale solar installation.

The 27 MW solar project represents a key milestone in Sangam (India)’s diversification strategy, enabling the company to tap into India’s expanding clean energy market while continuing its textile business.
