Ahmedabad-based Sahaj Solar has announced that the company has entered into a 1.5-year loan agreement with Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to borrow INR 125 crore.

The facility shall be utilised towards execution of 15,000 solar pumps under PM KUSUM COMPONENT-B, C and 300 off grid SPV plant projects in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Punjab, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

In December 2025, the company has also entered into a RESCO Model Agreement with Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA). It pertains to design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning including warranty, operation and maintenance for 25 years for 200 kW to 2,000 kW grid-connected rooftop solar PV systems for government and semi-government buildings at different locations in Uttar Pradesh under the RESCO Model on net-metering basis.

The company also received letter of empanelment (LoE) and rate contract worth INR 35.75 crore from Maharastra State Electricity Distribution (MSEDCL) installation of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS) of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacities in Maharashtra, including complete system warranty and its repair and maintenance and Remote Monitoring System (RMS) for 5 years under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana and PM KUSUM B Scheme.

In H1 FY26, Sahaj Solar entered into an exclusive partnership with IDMC (NDDB) to solarise India’s dairy cold-chain network by deploying hybrid solar-battery systems for ~10,000 bulk milk coolers over the next three years.

It strengthened presence in rooftop solar by qualifying for UPNEDA’s 500 MW RESCO tender with a scalable 5 MW bid. The company also secured two major wins: an INR 62.8 crore 12 MW UPNEDA turnkey solar project and an INR 57.34 crore MSEDCL order for 2,185 solar pumps under PM-KUSUM B.

Sahaj Solar has a 100 MW solar module manufacturing facility in Bavla, Gujarat. The company is setting up a 1.5 GW module facility with TOPCon, bifacial and anti-soiling tech, at Dakor, Gujarat, to boost capacity, strengthen quality, and support both captive and third party demand. The company signed a deal with Cliantech Solutions for the same. The company initiated the first 750 MW capacity expansion to be completed by March 2026.
