SAEL Bags NTPC Renewable LoA for 585.8 MWp Chitrakoot Solar PV Project
SAEL Solar P6 has secured an NTPC Renewable Energy contract to manufacture and supply TOPCon solar PV modules for the 585.8 MWp Chitrakoot-1 solar project in Uttar Pradesh.

SAEL Solar P6 Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of SAEL Industries Ltd., has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd. to supply high efficiency TOPCon solar PV modules for the 585.8 MWp Chitrakoot-1 solar PV project in Uttar Pradesh.
The awarded package represents the largest block of the Chitrakoot-1 solar project. Under the contract, SAEL Solar P6 will manufacture and supply TOPCon solar PV modules for the utility scale project, further strengthening the company's presence in India's growing solar manufacturing sector.
IPO bound SAEL Industries is a vertically integrated renewable energy company with operations spanning utility scale solar power projects, solar PV module manufacturing and agri waste to energy. As of the end of September 2025, the company had a contracted and awarded portfolio of 8,299 MWp of direct current solar and storage projects. It also operates 3,625 MW of TOPCon solar module assembly capacity and 164.9 MW of agri waste to energy assets.
The company is also expanding its domestic manufacturing footprint by establishing an integrated facility in Jewar, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with an annual capacity of 5 GW each for solar cells and solar modules. The project is expected to support India's domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem and meet rising demand for high efficiency PV modules.
