RSWM Ltd., the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has unveiled its Sustainability Report for FY 2024-25, highlighting significant strides in water conservation, renewable energy use, circularity, and clean manufacturing practices.

The company reported saving 22.3 lakh kilolitres of water through zero liquid discharge and reuse systems, alongside consumption of 101.76 million kW of renewable energy, which now contributes 33 percent of its total energy mix,  higher than India’s national clean energy average of 31 percent.

In a push for energy transition, RSWM replaced 14,714 MT of coal with biofuels in its boilers, with a target to fully switch to biofuels across all facilities by FY2026. Its circularity initiatives included recycling an average of 6.5 million PET bottles daily, amounting to 43,250 MT of waste converted into resources during the year. The company also integrated 38,270 MT of recycled polyester and 11,674 MT of organic cotton into yarn and fabric production.

Chairman and Managing Director Riju Jhunjhunwala said the company’s vision is guided by Panchtatva, a sustainability framework based on the five natural elements. “We only take what we can give back. That means rethinking waste as a resource, embedding renewables into our energy mix, and designing every process to minimize impact while maximizing resilience,” he said.

Joint Managing Director Rajeev Gupta added that the company is focused on measurable sustainability outcomes. “We are transitioning all six of our boilers to biofuels, scaling up PET bottle recycling capacity, and strengthening water management strategies,” he noted.

On the social side, RSWM’s CSR programmes reached 2.44 lakh beneficiaries in FY25. The company reported zero corruption cases, reinforced diversity initiatives, and expanded women’s participation in its workforce.

RSWM’s sustainability commitments are backed by global certifications including ISO, OEKO-TEX®, Global Recycle Standard, and Organic Content Standard, underscoring compliance with international ESG benchmarks.

As per the firm's statement, RSWM operates 12 plants with 6.27 lakh spindles, 172 looms, and 95 knitting machines, exporting yarns and fabrics to over 70 countries.
