RRECL Invites Bids for 33 MW Rooftop Solar PV Projects in Rajasthan

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RRECL) has invited bids for developing 33 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on state government buildings across five districts. Bid submission ends on January 27, 2026.

Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. (RRECL) has floated a tender for the development of 33 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic power projects on state government buildings in Rajasthan.

The scope of work includes design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning with net metering for the rooftop solar PV projects on state government buildings/state government undertaking buildings at Baran, Bundi, Jodhpur, Pali, and Sirohi districts in Rajasthan.

The bidders must also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for 25 years from the date of commissioning.

The approximate value of the tender is INR 137.41 crore.
 
Bidders need to pay INR 5,900 as a cost of the bid document and another INR 2,950 as a processing fee. Further, they need to furnish INR 8,32,780/MW as an earnest money deposit (EMD).
 
The last date for submission of bids is January 27, 2026. The techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 28, 2026.

Bidders must quote for a minimum of 5 MW and a maximum of 33 MW.

Projects must deliver a capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 15 percent.

The solar PV modules and cells to be used in the project must be listed in ALMM, and the module capacity must not be less than 540 Wp.

The bidder must have designed, supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned at least one grid-connected solar PV power plant with a minimum capacity of 5 kWp and a cumulative capacity of grid-connected solar PV power plant(s) equal to or more than 10 percent of the quoted capacity commissioned in the last seven years.

As for financial eligibility, the bidder must have a minimum net worth of INR 60 lakh/MW. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual turnover (MAAT) of INR 1 crore/MW.
