In a significant stride towards its clean energy goals, RPSG Solvanta, the renewable energy arm of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, has successfully established its first 1 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in less than five months.

With a robust project pipeline exceeding 500 MW, the new plant lays the groundwork for the Group’s larger ambition of developing a 4 GW integrated solar ecosystem encompassing cell, module, and upstream manufacturing.

Located in Jaipur, the state-of-the-art facility integrates advanced production technologies, stringent quality protocols, and efficient supply chain mechanisms to deliver high-performance solar modules. Backed by a dynamic team across Jaipur and Delhi, the project reinforces RPSG Solvanta’s commitment to accelerating India’s renewable energy capacity and establishing itself as a global leader in sustainable power solutions.

It may be noted that recently, RP Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG) announced plans to invest INR 3,000 crore in a 3 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh’s YEIDA Sector‑8D. Spread over 100 acres, the project will feature advanced TOPCon and perovskite-tandem technologies for higher efficiency and will include a 60 MW captive solar power plant with storage. Expected to generate around 5,000 jobs, the facility strengthens India’s solar manufacturing base and supports the government’s 'Make in India' initiative.
