Roofsol Energy Signs PPA with NCL Industries to Supply 9.5 MWp Solar Power
Roofsol Energy has inked a 25-year PPA with NCL Industries to supply 9.5 MWp of solar power from two plants in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, supporting the cement maker’s shift to sustainable and cost-efficient operations.

Roofsol Energy has announced that it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) of 25 years with NCL Industries (Nagarjuna Cement) to supply 9.5 MWp solar power for the latter’s integrated cement manufacturing and grinding plants in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Roofsol will supply them with two solar plants of 5 MWp in Andhra Pradesh and 4.5 MWp in Telangana. “These two plants of total 9.5 MWp will produce approximately 15 million units of electricity and offset around 4 MT of Green House gases annually,” the company stated.
“Our Roofsol Energy team with their technical excellence and seamless execution make such projects possible and deliver high-performance solar solutions on time with accuracy, supporting the journey of various industrial enterprises towards sustainable and cost-efficient manufacturing,” it said.

In May 2025, the company raised INR 210 crore from Aseem Infrastructure Finance to develop 92.66 MWp of IPP and group captive solar assets across India. The company also announced the successful commissioning of 14 solar EPC projects with a combined capacity of about 29 MWp across 12 Indian states and 5 industrial sectors.
