Roofsol Energy Secures Repeat 4.48 MWp Solar Order from Metro Decorative

Roofsol Energy has secured a repeat 4.48 MWp solar project order from Metro Decorative (CROSSBOND) for installations in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, following an earlier 3.2 MWp project.

Solar EPC company Roofsol Energy has announced that the company has received a repeat order for 4.48 MWp of solar projects from Metro Decorative (CROSSBOND) for installations in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, and Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh.

The order follows the successful completion of an earlier 3.2 MWp project for the same company. The EPC contract for the earlier project was signed in February 2026. The new projects will support CROSSBOND’s efforts to increase renewable energy use across its operations and reduce reliance on conventional power sources, stated Roofsol.

Last month, Roofsol Energy signed a Power Purchase Agreement for a 5 MWp solar plus 4 MWh BESS OPEX project for pharmaceutical packaging manufacturer Associated Capsules Group in Maharashtra, marking Roofsol's entry into the commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage market.

In July 2026, the company signed a 10.44 MWp rooftop solar PPA with steel manufacturer Shyam Steel Industries under the OPEX model, for the latter’s factory in Durgapur, West Bengal. The company also signed a 17 MWp rooftop solar PPA with Foxconn to develop an OPEX-based solar project for the smartphone manufacturer's facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

In FY27, the company’s target is to invest in 200 MWp of rooftop solar assets through PPAs, out of which over 50 MWp has already been signed and is under execution, the company stated.

In June 2026, Roofsol Energy secured INR 260 crore in funding from Aseem Infrastructure Finance to develop solar IPP projects, including installations for JK Tyre and Industries and an additional 100 MWp of C&I solar capacity across India.
