RMC Green Energy Appoints Samujjal Ganguly as Business Head
RMC Green Energy, a subsidiary of RMC Switchgears, has appointed Samujjal Ganguly as its Business Head, effective June 3, 2025.

RMC Green Energy, a subsidiary of RMC Switchgears, has appointed Samujjal Ganguly as the ‘Business Head’ of the subsidiary company with effect from June 3, 2025.
A seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the solar energy industry, he held several key leadership roles across top renewable energy companies in India. Most recently, he served as AVP and Head of the Commercial and Industrial Business Unit at Waaree RTL in Mumbai, leading the C&I EPC vertical in sales, marketing, and execution.
Prior to that, he was with Vikram Solar as Plant Head at Falta and later as Head of EPC Operations, where he successfully executed major projects, including a 450 MW NTPC solar plant and a 10 MW floating solar project.
He also served as President Asset Management and Product Development at Navitas Green Solutions and held leadership positions at Exide Industries, including CEO of its subsidiary, Chloride Power Systems.
Earlier in his career, he was VP Projects at Vikram Solar, handling a portfolio of over 0.5 GW, and worked with UD Energy Systems, Luminous Technologies, and Exide Industries in various technical and commercial capacities.
He began his journey in renewable energy as a Founder Director at Agni Power and as a project staff member at Jadavpur University on an MNRE-funded solar lantern project. Academically, he completed his engineering diploma from IETE and graduated from Calcutta University, along with advanced training from IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kolkata, and certifications in solar and renewable energy from global institutions.
