Revision of guidelines for empanelment of Channel Partners under grid connected Solar rooftop

Ministry has been carrying out empanelment of agencies (channel Partner) for grid

connected rooftop solar program so as to address market needs and support potential

beneficiaries. In order to simplify the empanelment process and promote ease of doing

business, Ministry is in the process of revising guidelines for empanelment of channel partners.

2. All agencies desirous of empanelment with MNRE are hereby requested not to

approach rating agencies till the revised guidelines have been notified. All rating agencies are

also requested not to accept application for rating purpose for MNRE empanelment till further

orders.

3. This notification is applicable from immediate effect and until further orders. However,

this does not affect the empanelment process already completed for second quarter of July

2017.
