Replus Engitech Secures INR 217.56 Cr Battery Supply Order from Indus Towers

Replus Engitech, a subsidiary of Bhilwara Energy, has secured INR 217.56 crore in orders from Indus Towers to supply Lithium-Ion Battery Banks. The order is expected to be fulfilled by March 31, 2027.

Replus Engitech, a subsidiary of Bhilwara Energy, has announced that the company has received orders worth INR 217.56 crore from Indus Towers (formerly Bharti Infratel) for the supply of Lithium-Ion Battery Banks.

The order will be fulfilled on or before March 31, 2027, or such extended date as may be mutually agreed upon between the parties, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

Last month, the company announced it has been selected under the Government of India's Research, Development and Innovation Scheme (RDI Scheme). As part of this recognition, Replus has been awarded INR 43 crore to advance the development of innovative Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) technologies.

Over the past few years, Replus Engitech has built capabilities across design, engineering, manufacturing, integration, deployment and lifecycle support for lithium-ion-based BESS solutions. Its portfolio supports stationary storage, telecom, hybrid applications and e-mobility use cases, backed by in-house expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (BMS).

With a fully automated 1 GWh battery manufacturing facility in Pune, scalable to 6 GWh, REPLUS has already deployed 100 MWh of BESS projects nationwide, developed India’s first AIS-certified battery pack for LCVs, and supplied over 500 EV battery packs with proven on-road performance, the company stated.
