As the solar industry moves beyond just scaling up, focusing more on quality, performance, and innovation, RenewSys is stepping up with advanced encapsulant solutions developed through strong in-house R&D.

The company has announced the addition of eight new encapsulant manufacturing lines at its Khopoli facility, aiming to meet growing demand in India and global markets. RenewSys is expanding both its capacity and its ability to deliver cutting-edge products. With specialised offerings such as Transparent Backsheets and Anti-Acid Encapsulants alongside its robust EVA, POE, and EPE portfolio, the company is redefining the standards for solar module materials made in India.

“As India accelerates its transition to renewable energy, driven by visionary policy initiatives from the Ministry of Renewable Energy (MNRE), we at RenewSys are scaling up to meet the growing demand with agility and commitment,” said Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, RenewSys.

"Our upcoming expansion reflects not just our preparedness to serve a rapidly evolving solar market, but also our continued focus on enabling high-quality, reliable module manufacturing through world-class encapsulant solutions. This is a step forward in our journey to power a sustainable future for India and beyond," he added.

Seven of the new encapsulant lines are already operational, with four more set to launch in 2025, bringing the company’s total to 19 advanced production lines. This move supports RenewSys’ goal of achieving a 30 GW cumulative installed manufacturing capacity.

According to the company, as countries push to meet ambitious renewable targets, RenewSys is not just keeping pace with demand but actively shaping the future of solar manufacturing through high-value, reliable component solutions, strengthening India’s place in the global solar supply chain.
