RenewSys Launches India’s First Reel-Based Encapsulant for Solar Module Junction Box and Busbar Insulation

RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd. has launched CONSERV® AUGMENSHEET, which it said is India’s first sheet encapsulant developed specifically for the insulation and sealing of busbar and junction box areas in solar PV modules.

Supplied in reel format, the encapsulant is designed to support automatic feed-in on fully automated module manufacturing lines, enabling higher productivity and uniform processing in next-generation solar module production.

As per the firm's statement, CONSERV® AUGMENSHEET is based on RenewSys’ CONSERV® encapsulant technology and is available in EPE, EVA and POE variants. The product’s engineered formulation and precision manufacturing help significantly reduce bubble formation during lamination, improve electrical insulation, ensure uniform flow and superior wet-out characteristics, and enhance long-term module reliability.

The encapsulant is available in widths ranging from 30 mm to 100 mm and can be customised to meet varying module designs and production requirements.

The product is compatible with new-generation PV module manufacturing lines, including glass-to-glass and glass-to-backsheet configurations, and supports a wide range of module architectures and advanced cell technologies.
