Reliance Industries Earn USD 10 to 15 Billion in Revenue from New Energy Business by 2030, says Report

Reliance proposes to have 100GW of installed solar capacity by 2030, that is 35 percent of India's targeted capacity of 280GW.

Reliance Industries is likely to earn USD 10-15 billion from its new energy business comprising solar to hydrogen though will require acquisitions or partnerships to fulfill the limited expertise in technology.

India is aiming solar capacity of 280GW and 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen production by 2030.

Reliance proposes to have 100GW of installed solar capacity by 2030, that is 35 percent of India's targeted capacity of 280GW.

Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. research report said, "By 2030, we estimate Reliance could capture 60 percent, 30 percent and 20 percent of solar, battery and hydrogen TAM respectively".

Reliance is developing a renewable energy business to deliver the equipment India will require for its green power revolution.

It has pledged to be a net zero carbon emission company by the year 2035, which is prior than the aim of any other energy company in the region.

The company is constructing a wholly integrated end-to-end renewable energy ecosystem for customers through solar, batteries and hydrogen.
