Refex Green Power Receives LoA from SJVN for 80 MW Wind Project in Andhra Pradesh

Refex Renewables and Infrastructure’s subsidiary Refex Green Power has secured an 80 MW wind power project from SJVN in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, at a tariff of INR 3.88/kWh.

Refex Renewables and Infrastructure has announced that the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Refex Green Power (RGPL), has received a letter of award (LoA) from SJVN for setting up an 80 MW wind power project in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh

Under the award, SJVN will enter into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with RGPL or its Special Purpose Vehicle for the project. The wind project has been awarded at a discovered tariff of INR 3.88/kWh, with revenues to be realised over the PPA period based on the actual electricity generated and supplied, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

It further added that the project is required to achieve full-capacity commissioning within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA.

The tender for this was floated in September 2025.
