RECPDCL Hands Over INR 839.55 Crore Luhri Transmission SPV to Terralight Solar
REC Power Development and Consultancy has handed over the Luhri Power Transmission SPV to Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari for developing an INR 839.55-crore transmission system to evacuate power from the Sunni Dam and Luhri Stage-I hydro projects in Himachal Pradesh.

The SPV will facilitate the establishment of “Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from Sunni Dam HEP and Luhri Stage -1 HEP” on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis, RECPDCL stated.
The SPV was handed over by Rajkumar Sonkar, HoD (CS), RECPDCL, to Nitin Mahajan, General Manager (Bidding), Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari, in the presence of Ratnesh Kumar, GM (Engg.), RECPDCL and other senior officials from RECPDCL, Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari and Central Transmission Utility of India.
The transmission project broadly envisages the establishment of a 400/220 kV GIS Nange Pooling station in Himachal Pradesh, a 400 KV Nange PS to Koldam D/c line of 50 kms along with other associated works.
The project is scheduled for commissioning by October 15, 2029, i.e., matching with the schedule of the hydro generation projects (SDHEP/LHEP-I), at an estimated cost of INR 839.55 crore.
