Building on the momentum of the inaugural REconnect Lucknow in 2025 and subsequent successful editions held across India — including Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Coimbatore and Nagpur –  the REconnect Summit returns to Lucknow on February 21, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Themed ‘Building North India’s Solar Base: Uttar Pradesh Takes Centre Stage’, the summit will spotlight the state’s rapidly expanding clean energy landscape, bringing together solar EPCs, PV manufacturers, and energy storage players to chart the next phase of Uttar Pradesh’s green growth.

Conceived as a full-day, high-impact platform, the summit will convene senior leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to explore pathways for the state’s renewable transition, aligned with its goal of installing rooftop solar in 8 lakh homes under PM Surya Ghar Yojana and achieving 22 GW of solar capacity by 2027.

Indu Shekhar Chaturvedi, Former DG, Electric Power Transmission Association (EPTA) and Former Secretary, MNRE, Government of India and Pankaj Singh, PCS, Secretary/CPO, Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) (Department of Additional Sources of Energy, Govt. of UP), will be the Guests of Honour. Through their keynote addresses, they will underscore the critical role of renewable energy expansion and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in building a resilient and secure power grid.

The summit has garnered support from prominent industry players, including Adani Solar, Luminous Power Technologies, Feston S.E.V. Technologies, Trontek Electronics, Pom Systems and Services (POM Power), Cosmic PV Power, Gronsol, and True Power Ltd. Solar Energy Vendors Association (SEVA) and Pan India Solar Sector Association (PISSA) are the industry association partners for the event.

Anchored by high-level panel discussions, expert-led sessions, and focused networking, the REconnect Lucknow 2026 will address critical themes such as the growth of solar PV manufacturing, evolving regulatory frameworks, utility-scale solar expansion, scaling C&I and residential rooftop adoption, open access and captive procurement models, BESS for the C&I sector and grid reliability.

The discussions during the event will revolve around:
  • Managing the Solar Surge: Rooftop, C&I and Storage Integration in Uttar Pradesh’s Grid: An in-depth examination of strategies to drive adoption across commercial, industrial, and residential segments, including net metering policy, open access regulations, financing solar projects, and integrating BESS.
  •  Reliable Supply for a Reliable Grid: Solar Manufacturing Capacity and Quality in UP: A look at the state’s emergence as a solar manufacturing hub and its role in advancing national sustainability goals.
Organised by Energetica India Magazine, the REconnect Summit Lucknow will convene government representatives, industry leaders, and global experts to highlight innovation, investment opportunities, and collaborative pathways, strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s role as a leading hub for renewable energy dialogue and development in India.

Stay tuned for more updates as the summit unfolds, marking another significant stride toward India’s renewable energy ambitions.
