Rayzon Solar has introduced its latest innovation – the TOPCon-210R solar panel, at the ongoing Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2024 being held at Greater Noida. It embodies the latest advancements in Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) technology.

“These G12 rectangular cells are designed to maximise energy output and enhance the overall efficiency of solar modules. The unique rectangular design of the cells optimises space utilisation within the module, allowing for more cells to be packed into a given area, thus increasing the module's power density,” informed the company in a statement.

The launch marks a significant milestone in Rayzon Solar's journey toward delivering advanced, high-efficiency solar solutions. The TOPCon-210R was met with tremendous interest at the expo, as it offers enhanced power output, superior performance, and durability, making it a highly sought-after choice for both residential and commercial solar projects, the company shared.

The TOPCon-210R cells are N-Type Monocrystalline TOPCon cells, sized at 210 mm by 182 mm in a rectangular shape. The TOPCon technology used in the 210R cells allows for higher efficiency rates, ensuring that more sunlight is converted into usable energy. They achieve up to 25 percent cell efficiency and 23 percent module efficiency, with each module producing up to 625 watts of power.

The higher string power reduces the number of strings needed, cutting Balance of System costs and lowering the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE).

The dual glass modules are designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, making them ideal for a wide range of applications, from residential to large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

“These cells operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and have a temperature coefficient of -0.29 percent/degree C. They offer strong anti-PID performance for long-term reliability and can withstand mechanical loads of up to 5400 Pa for snow and 2400 Pa for wind,” the company added.

With lower degradation rates and a longer lifespan, the TOPCon-210R modules contribute to more sustainable solar energy production. Rayzon Solar offers a 30-year linear power output warranty and a 15-year product warranty for dual-glass modules.

In another development, the company announced its plan to expand its production capacity to 12 GW. This expansion will enable the company to meet the growing global demand for high-efficiency solar modules and reinforce its position as a leader in the renewable energy sector.

“The 12 GW capacity expansion is a testament to Rayzon Solar’s commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. With this increase in capacity, Rayzon will be well-equipped to supply large-scale solar projects worldwide, contributing to the global shift towards renewable energy and helping to reduce carbon emissions on a massive scale,” the company asserted.
