Rajesh Power Services Secures INR 220.18 Crore Transmission Work Order in Gujarat

Gujarat-based Rajesh Power Services has secured INR 220.18 crore in orders from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. for the supply and installation of 11KV MVCC under the Kisan Suryoday Yojana and Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana schemes.

Gujarat-based renewable and conventional energy solutions provider Rajesh Power Services has announced that the company has secured orders worth INR 220.18 crore for 11KV Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (MVCC) from Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd.

The scope of work includes for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11KV Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (MVCC) at various locations under Kisan Suryoday Yojana (KSY) Scheme and Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojana (VKY -2) Scheme.

The projects will be executed within 9 months, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

In December 2024, the company raised INR 160.47 crore via initial public offering (IPO) through the BSE SME platform. As per the red herring prospectus (RHP), the company plans to use the funds raised for several purposes, including capital expenditure for cable identification, testing, and fault location equipment, setting up a 1,300 kW DC solar power plant, and supporting the development of in-house expertise for green hydrogen production and associated equipment like electrolysers.

The company specialises in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, primarily serving power transmission and distribution utilities. Its services include laying EHV/HV/LV underground cable networks, setting up solar power plants, and constructing substations.
