Radiance Renewables has announced that the company has commissioned an 87 MWp solar power project at Korwar in Karnataka, strengthening its operational renewable energy portfolio and advancing its target of achieving 2 GW of operational capacity.
“Over its operational lifetime, the site is expected to generate nearly 3.48 million MWh of green energy and help reduce approximately 2.96 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions, contributing meaningfully to India’s clean energy transition,” stated the company.
It further added that the project was completed within the planned execution schedule while recording over 330,000 safe man-hours without any incidents, underscoring its focus on execution excellence and workplace safety.
The solar facility has been equipped with 100 percent Central Electricity Authority (CEA)-compliant reactive power compensation systems, aimed at improving grid stability, optimising power management and enabling future integration with battery energy storage systems (BESS), asserted the company.
Radiance Renewables stated that the project will cater to the renewable energy requirements of companies in the data centre, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and automotive sectors, providing reliable, scalable and cost-effective green power solutions.
