Purvah Green Secures Government Order for 350 MW Wind Project in Andhra Pradesh
Purvah Green, a CESC subsidiary under the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, has secured a Government Order from Andhra Pradesh to develop a 349.8 MW wind project with an investment of about INR 3,286 crore.

Purvah Green, a subsidiary of CESC and a part of RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, has announced that the company has received a Government Order from the Government of Andhra Pradesh, for a 349.8 MW wind project paving the way for an investment of INR 3,286 crore in cutting-edge Renewable Energy Projects.
The Government Order was formally received at the 30th CII Partnership Summit held in Visakhapatnam, the company stated.
“This milestone not only strengthens our commitment to sustainable development but also reinforces our contribution to India’s National Mission of achieving 500 GW of Renewable Energy capacity by 2030. As part of RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, we remain dedicated to driving clean energy transformation, fostering innovation, and building a greener future for generations to come,” the company stated.
Last month, the company won 300 MW at a tariff of INR 2.86/kWh in Solar Energy Corporation of India's (SECI) auction for setting up 2,000 MW ISTS-connected Solar PV projects with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
The company also signed an MoU with Rajasthan government for developing 2,100 MW of solar and wind projects.
As per the recently issued 'Investor Update for Q2 FY26, CESC through its renewable subsidiary, Purvah Green Power is currently executing 3.2 GW of hybrid solar and wind projects slated for completion by FY29. Phase two of the initiative will take this capacity to 10 GW, positioning CESC as a major player in the green energy transition.
