Purvah Green Power to Develop 300 MW ISTS-Connected Solar PV Project
CESC has selected its subsidiary Purvah Green Power for setting up a 300 MW solar PV project. While 150 MW was awarded under TBCB and the rest through the greenshoe option.

Power utility major CESC Ltd. has recently announced that it has selected its subsidiary Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd. to develop a 300 MW ISTS-connected solar PV project.
In a regulatory filing, the company has informed that of the 300 MW, 150 MW was awarded under Tariff-based Competitive Bidding and an additional 150 MW capacity was awarded under the greenshoe option.
CESC has further informed that the power purchase agreement will remain in force for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commencement of the supply date.
In July 2024, CESC acquired 63.91 percent equity shares in Purvah Green Power for INR 205 crore, making it a direct subsidiary.
