PTC India, MAHAPREIT Sign MoU to Explore Renewable Energy and Green Infrastructure

PTC India and MAHAPREIT have signed an MoU to explore collaboration in renewable energy, green infrastructure, energy storage, green hydrogen, power portfolio management, regulatory advisory services and other sustainable energy solutions.

PTC India has announced that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) to jointly explore opportunities across the renewable energy, green infrastructure and energy markets.
 
Under the agreement, the two organisations will evaluate potential collaborations in renewable energy projects, green infrastructure development, energy storage systems, green hydrogen, energy markets, power portfolio management, regulatory advisory services and other sustainable energy solutions.
 
The MoU aims to leverage the expertise and capabilities of both entities to identify and pursue opportunities that support Maharashtra's clean energy and infrastructure development objectives.
 
The agreement was signed by Bipin Shrimali, Managing Director, MAHAPREIT, and Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, PTC India Limited. Dr. Deepak Kokate, Executive Director, MAHAPREIT, was also present during the signing ceremony.
 
In April 2026, PTC India signed an MoU with NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) to explore bilateral and market-based renewable energy power sales.
 
In February 2026, ENGIE India and PTC India signed a new MoU to expand their renewable energy partnership, focusing on market-based offtake models, battery storage development, and knowledge sharing, building on their recent 100 MW solar PPA.
 
In January 2026, Solar Energy Corporation of India and PTC India signed an MoU to collaborate on renewable energy integration, power market operations, battery energy storage systems, and jointly develop large-scale renewable and storage projects.
 
In December 2025, NLC India Renewables and PTC India inked a joint venture agreement to develop up to 2 GW of green energy projects, starting with a 500 MW first phase, spanning solar, wind, hydro, battery energy storage systems, green ammonia, and other emerging green technologies.
