Ahmedabad-based solar EPC company Prozeal Green Energy Ltd. has recently received an order for setting up a 15.4 MW solar project from Pudumjee Paper Products Ltd.

“The company has awarded a contract for a 15.4 MW solar power project to Prozeal Green Energy Ltd. for setting up a turnkey solar power project to be owned by the company to generate and provide renewable energy for the company's captive consumption,” informed Pudumjee Paper Products in a regulatory filing.

It further noted that the project is estimated to be completed in the next financial year and it will help the company to meet the renewable energy obligation and to lower the cost of energy.

With over 2 GW of installed capacity in renewable energy, Prozeal Green Energy serves more than 300 clients across the commercial, industrial, institutional, and government sectors, the company claimed.

Recently, Prozeal Green Energy has also signed a JV with Nepalese firm Golyan Power Ltd. for setting up solar projects in Nepal. Together, the two companies target to develop over 500 MW of solar energy projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plants, across multiple locations in Nepal over the next 18 months.
