PRISMA and IGX Partner to Build Efficient, Competitive Gas Markets

PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH (PRISMA) and Indian Gas Exchange Ltd. (IGX) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in natural gas and LNG markets. The MoU was signed during a delegation visit to PRISMA’s headquarters in Leipzig.

The agreement is designed to foster innovation, transparency, and efficiency in the gas sector by combining European and Indian expertise. Both parties will work together on digital solutions for gas booking and trading, while also sharing knowledge and best practices across markets.

Key areas of collaboration include joint training workshops and capacity-building programs for regulators, operators, and market participants. The two exchanges will also explore best practices in platform development for natural gas and LNG trading and engage in regulatory dialogues to enhance transparency and efficiency.
