Premier Energies Commissions 400 MW Solar Cell Manufacturing Facility in Telangana

Premier Energies Ltd. has announced the commissioning of a 400 MW solar photovoltaic cell (Mono PERC) manufacturing facility at its E-City plant in Maheshwaram, Telangana, marking a key capacity expansion for the company.

The facility has been commissioned through the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Ltd., and forms part of a brownfield expansion of its existing cell manufacturing operations. The expansion was executed by installing additional equipment while leveraging the existing infrastructure and utilities at the Maheshwaram facility.

Following the commissioning of the new production line, Premier Energies’ total operational solar cell manufacturing capacity has increased to 3.6 GW, strengthening its position in India’s fast-growing domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.
