Prabhunath Gupta Joins GPS Renewables as Business Development Executive VP
Founded in 2012, Bengaluru-based GPS Renewables focuses on bio-methanation technologies to solve the organic waste management challenge, accelerate substitution of fossil fuel with bio-energy and play a key role in mitigating climate change.

Bengaluru based clean tech company GPS Renewables has appointed recently appointed Prabhunath Gupta as executive vice-president of business development for its biofuel EPC vertical.
Talking about GPS Renewables, Prabhunath Gupta said that the company has made significant contributions to the Indian biofuels industry and emerged as a leading clean energy company. He further added that he is excited to work for the firm and take it to new heights.
According to the reports, Prabhunath Gupta was previously handling Hiranandani Group’s gas marketing at H-Energy and heading business development at OCS Services. He has also worked with hydrocarbon segment of L&T.
Mainak Chakraborty, CEO and co-founder of GPS Renewables appreciated Gupta’s skills and experience.
Founded in 2012 by IIMB graduates Mainak Chakraborty and Sreekrishna Sankar, GPS Renewables focuses on bio-methanation technologies to solve the organic waste management challenge, accelerate substitution of fossil fuel with bio-energy and play a key role in mitigating climate change.
It’s core products are the BioUrja, a state-of-the-art modular biogas plant and the BiogasBot, a proprietary AI solution for remote predictive bioprocess management.
The company has close to 100 BioUrja installations across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka with various companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Bosch, Cummins, Saint Gobain, Reliance, JW Mariott Group, and the TATAs.
These BioUrjas help GPS’ clients convert organic waste into clean energy for captive usage, significantly reducing their carbon footprint.
