Powin Signs 10 GWh Supply Agreement with EVE Energy

Powin LLC (Powin) has signed a 10 GWh supply agreement with EVE Energy Co., Ltd. (EVE), a supplier of power cells. first level battery, to supply the world market of energy storage.
This deal will support a portion of the capacity of Powin's flagship project, the 1,850 MWh superbattery called the Waratah Super Battery , and underscores Powin's commitment to proactively overcome supply challenges while delivering energy storage in batteries that are safe, reliable and high performance.
This announcement comes as part of a long-term partnership dating back to 2021, when Powin first announced its 2-year supply contract with EVE on a GWh scale. Since then, EVE has continued to invest in expanding its energy storage capacity and recently announced the construction of six new battery plants, totaling 120 GWh of capacity and representing more than 3 BUSD in investment.
EVE will supply the LFP battery cells that are integrated into Powin's Centipede™ platform, fully optimized by its proprietary StackOS™ software ensuring unparalleled levels of visibility and control to improve safety and performance.
