Powertrac Group Announces 10 GWh BESS Container Manufacturing Facility
Powertrac Group is setting up a 10 GWh automated BESS container production line with CTP and PTC technologies to serve the commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility-scale energy storage markets.

“This advanced manufacturing facility is being developed to manufacture high-quality C&I and Utility-Scale BESS Containers,” stated Kishorsinh Zala, Chairman, Powertrac Group.
The proposed facility will incorporate Cell-to-Pack (CTP) and Pack-to-Container (PTC) technologies. These technologies are expected to enable an integrated manufacturing process, supporting efficient production and quality control across the BESS value chain.
Zala earlier stated that the BESS containers will be available in India under the Powertrac brand by October 2026. “The solution, with a capacity of up to 5 MW, will utilise a production line and raw materials sourced from a reputed technology provider. Our BESS containers will come with the required certifications, ensuring quality and reliability,” he said.
The development follows Powertrac's recent establishment of its BESS Division office in Ahmedabad, marking a further step in its energy-storage business expansion. The company said that the BESS division is part of its broader objective of delivering world-class Battery Energy Storage Systems, with the upcoming facility expected to strengthen its domestic manufacturing and project execution capabilities.
