Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Secures EPC Order for 5 MWp Solar Project

Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Ltd. has secured a work order worth INR 9.50 crore from Sadashiv Projects India for 5 MWp ground-mounted solar projects in Gujarat.

Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Ltd. has announced that the company has received am work order worth INR 9.50 crore from Sadashiv Projects India for 5 MWp ground-mounted solar projects in Gujarat.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, and testing for the solar projects including material supplies and various services at various locations in Gujarat, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

Earlier this year, the company forayed into the solar EPC segment with a 5 MW (AC) solar project in Latur district of Maharashtra. The contract was awarded by A2 Green Energy.

In April 2025, the company also entered the Extra High Voltage (EHV) segment by securing an order worth INR 80.24 lakh from Godrej & Boyce. The order involves the erection of 350 MVA power transformers, oil filtration, pre-erection testing, and oil sample testing at the 400kV GIS PSS-2 GIPCL, Khavda Project.

In August 2024, the company secured contracts worth INR 28.41 crore under the Mukhyamantri Ujjawal Jharkhand Yojana (MUJY) for the electrification of un-electrified and partially electrified habitations and households in Sahibganj District, Jharkhand.

In September 2024, the company was appointed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) as the specialised agency responsible for the power supply system of the new Integrated Passenger Terminal Building at Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur.

Founded in 1975, Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) offers a wide range of services, in the field of electrical engineering ranging in the transmission and distribution sector and also provides post-installation maintenance services. The expertise spans across designing, supplying, installing and maintaining energy-efficient power systems across the industry.

For FY25, the company reported a standalone total income of INR 171.28 crore, EBITDA of INR 19.59 crore and net profit of INR 11.75 crore.
