Wires and cables manufacturer Polycab India has announced the launch of its new Polycab Solar Kits at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025 at Greater Noida.
The newly launched Polycab Solar Kits offer a one-stop solar power solution tailored for residential, commercial, and rural applications, the company said in a statement.
Each kit integrates high-efficiency grid-tie inverters, solar cables, AC/DC distribution boxes and accessories like earthing kits, connectors and lugs delivering a reliable and easy-to-install solution designed to make solar energy more accessible.
This launch builds upon Polycab’s existing solar portfolio, which includes string inverters, solar cables, and other energy-efficient components.
Anurag Agarwal, CEO – Global Exports and New Businesses, Polycab India, said, “With our new Solar Kit launch at REI Expo 2025, our offering bridges the gap between capability and accessibility — enabling homeowners, enterprises, and communities to adopt solar power easily and reliably. With our strong manufacturing and product-stack foundation, we are confident of making solar the next growth engine for Polycab.”
Over the past few years, Polycab has significantly deepened its presence in India’s solar and renewable energy space. In FY25, the company developed a combined renewable energy capacity of 32.755 MW, spanning wind and solar power assets. Notably, 17 percent of Polycab’s total electricity consumption now comes from renewable sources, helping the company avoid over 31,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions in the last financial year, the company said.
