PNC Infratech Receives LoA for 300 MW Solar Project with 600 MWh ESS from NHPC
PNC Infratech has received an LoA from NHPC to develop a 300 MW solar project with 150 MW/600 MWh energy storage system. The company secured the capacity under TBCB by quoting a tariff of INR 3.13/kWh in NHPC’s auction held last month.

The company secured the projects through a tariff-based competitive bidding in NHPC's auction (Tranche-XI) for setting up 1,200 MW ISTS-connected solar projects with 600 MW/2,400 MWh energy storage systems, held in July 2025. The tender was floated in March 2025.
PNC Infratech quoted a tariff of INR 3.13/kWh. The other winners were Reliance Infrastructure (390 MW), SAEL Industries (300 MW), JBM Renewables (150 MW) and Navayuga Engineering Company (60 MW).
The scheduled commencement of supply date (SCSD) shall be 24 months from the effective date of power purchase agreement (PPA), stated the company in a regulatory filing. It further added that the PPA will be for a period of 25 years.
