PM Narendra Modi Lays Foundation Stone of SJVN's Seven Projects
The seven projects, totalling 727 MW in capacity have investment cost of 5515 crores. They are expected to generate 2255 million units of energy annually and will reduce 20,10,941 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually Dedicated to the Nation four Power Stations of SJVN namely 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station in Uttarakhand, 75 MW Parasan Solar Power Station, 75 MW Gurhah Solar Power Station and 50 MW Gujrai Solar Power Station in Uttar Pradesh in a ceremony at Adilabad, Telangana.
Hon’ble Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of SJVN’s projects viz 382 MW Sunni Dam Hydro Electric Project and 15 MW Nangal Floating Solar Power Project in Himachal Pradesh and 70 MW Solar Project in Assam. These hydro and solar power projects will contribute in the nation's goal of achieving net zero carbon emission economy by 2070.
Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation, laid foundation stone and inaugurated Power & Infrastructural Projects of more than INR 56 thousand crores.
Chairman and Managing Director of SJVN, Geeta Kapur, expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for his visionary leadership for uninterrupted, reliable and affordable supply of Power to All. She reaffirmed SJVN's dedication to realize Narendra Modi's vision of achieving 500 GW installed capacity from non-fossil fuel-based energy resources by 2030. Kapur also extended gratitude to the Hon’ble Union Minister of Power & New & Renewable Energy, R.K Singh, Government of India and the State Governments for entrusting SJVN for execution of power projects.
