Piyush Goyal Launches access to Clean Cooking Energy and Electricity- Survey of States Report

Mr. Piyush Goyal Union Minister of State (IC) for Coal, Power and New and Renewable Energy, launched ‘Access to Clean Cooking Energy and Electricity- Survey of States Report’ in an event organised by Council of Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) . Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the whole world wants to invest in India today. People are happy that there is consistent policy stability now. Tax laws are stable and policy framework on renewable is getting very robust. 

Mr. Ashutosh Jindal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dr. Arunbha Ghosh, CEO, CEEW, Mr. Jamshyd Godrej, Chairperson, CEEW, Mr. Narayab Swaroop Nigam, Chairman & MD, West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited were also present at the occasion.
