Panasonic Wins 2020 ‘Golden Peacock Award’ for Environment Management

Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt Ltd, one of the largest domestic manufacturer of electrical construction materials (ECM) in India, has won the coveted 2020 ‘Golden Peacock Award’ for environment management for their wires and cables manufacturing unit located in Daman.

Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt Ltd, one of the largest domestic manufacturer of electrical construction materials (ECM) in India, has won the coveted 2020 ‘Golden Peacock Award’ for environment management for their wires and cables manufacturing unit located in Daman.

The company bagged this award for its persistent sustainable efforts towards environmental initiatives at the unit. The award category was for prominent players present in the electrical consumer goods manufacturing sector.

The company’s Daman Unit-04 was declared winner from amongst the 235 short-listed nominations received after a stringent three-tire assessment process by the Grand Awards Jury.

Further, the participants from Corporates included Large, Small & Medium Enterprises covering all types of Public, Private and Government Enterprises. Due to the unprecedented moment – of the COVID-19 crisis the award ceremony was conducted on a virtual platform.

The company has 6 manufacturing units set up across India that offer a range of solutions and services. The award is a prestigious win and suitably acknowledged and celebrated by peers and industry. Also, it reaffirms the company’s continuous efforts and commitment towards enhancing the environmental performance there by a sustainable step towards doing Social Responsibility.

The company offers a wide spectrum of electrical solutions in consumer products ranging from wires & cables, lighting, solar power, wiring devices, switchgears, infrastructure and indoor air quality (IAQ).
