Pace Digitek, an integrated provider of telecom infrastructure and energy solutions, has secured a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC order from NTPC for implementation at the Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Station for a 200 MW / 400 MWh deployment.

The contract, valued at INR 4,945.4 million (excluding GST), includes ex-works supply for the BESS EPC package along with comprehensive annual maintenance for the life of the system. The scope covers supply, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning and lifecycle maintenance of the BESS infrastructure, along with associated civil, structural and site works. The execution period for supply and services is around 15 months followed by comprehensive annual maintenance for 11 years.

This order reinforces Pace Digitek’s ability to execute across the BESS value chain (covering end-to-end execution including supply, installation, commissioning and lifecycle maintenance) and strengthens its participation in utility-scale energy storage deployments.

The order entails a total contract value of INR 4,945.4 million (excluding GST) for the execution of an EPC package for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Station in Bihar. The project involves the deployment of a 200 MW / 400 MWh BESS, covering the complete scope of supply, installation, commissioning and lifecycle maintenance. The execution timeline is estimated at around 15 months, followed by an 11-year annual maintenance period.

Commenting on the development Chairman and Managing Director, Venugopal Rao Maddisetty said, “This order from NTPC represents a significant addition to our energy order book and reinforces our capabilities in executing integrated BESS projects. As energy storage becomes an increasingly important component of power infrastructure, our ability to deliver end-to-end execution including supply, infrastructure execution and lifecycle services positions us well for utility-scale opportunities. We remain focused on disciplined execution and expanding our participation in energy storage and related infrastructure opportunities.”

With this order, the consolidated order book of Pace Digitek stands at approximately INR 110,200 million, comprising projects across energy, telecom infrastructure, telecom power equipment and emerging railway infrastructure segments.
