Kshema Power, a Chennai-based EPC company specialising in renewable energy infrastructure, has secured a major order from Oyster Green Hybrid Three Pvt. Ltd. to develop a 33 kV/220 kV AIS substation for a 350 MW wind–solar hybrid project in Madhya Pradesh.
The partnership will help boost clean energy evacuation capacity in one of the country’s fastest-growing renewable corridors. Under the contract, Kshema Power will handle the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 51-kilometre transmission line, along with the design, engineering, supply, installation, civil works, testing, and commissioning of an AIS substation. This installation will serve as the primary evacuation system for Oyster Green Hybrid Three’s project, ensuring efficient and reliable grid integration of wind and solar power. The project is slated for completion by July 2026.
Speaking about the development, Abhinand Basant, Deputy Managing Director, Kshema Power, said, "This order marks an important milestone in our ongoing work in the renewable transmission infrastructure space. It reflects the confidence of industry partners in our technical capability, execution standards, and project delivery approach. We see this as an opportunity to build further on our strengths, expand our presence in high-capacity hybrid projects, and continue contributing to India’s energy transition. Our teams are fully committed to delivering this project with the reliability and efficiency our clients expect.”
Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Bhatia, Managing Director, Oyster Green Hybrid Three Pvt. Ltd., said, " This project is a significant step in strengthening our hybrid renewable energy portfolio and creating infrastructure that supports long-term, reliable power delivery. Our collaboration with Kshema Power reflects a shared commitment to quality, timely execution, and building assets that contribute meaningfully to India’s clean energy landscape. We look forward to executing this project with excellence.”
The initiative further enhances renewable energy evacuation at a time when hybrid projects are rapidly gaining momentum. By pairing wind and solar generation with robust transmission systems, Oyster Green Hybrid Three and Kshema Power are advancing a more resilient and future-ready grid.
