Oswal Pumps announces that it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from North Bihar Power Distribution Company (NBPDCL) for the design, supply, and installation of 20 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity across 18,089 consumer sites of 1.1 kW each in the Darbhanga Circle of Bihar, under the PM Surya Ghar – Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG-MBY). The award builds on the company's earlier order wins in the state and reinforces its expanding presence under the programme.
The projects carry an installation order value of approximately INR 78 Crore, with an estimated long-term revenue potential of approximately INR 67 Crore from energy supply over a 10-year tenure under the RESCO model, translating into a cumulative revenue opportunity of approximately INR 145 Crore. Each beneficiary household is expected to receive approximately 15,000 units of solar power over the contract period.
Commenting on the orders, Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Oswal Pumps, said, “We are pleased to have received this additional order from NBPDCL. Bihar continues to be an important market for us under the PM Surya Ghar programme, and this award reflects the continued confidence of state discoms in our capabilities. We look forward to commencing execution and delivering on this mandate, in line with our broader commitment to India's clean energy transition.”
