Vertically integrated solar pump manufacturer Oswal Pumps has announced that the company has received a Letter of Empanelment/Letter of Award (LoA) worth about INR 380 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for 13,738 off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS).

The scope of works includes design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of SPWPS of 3HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacity at identified farmers’ sites across Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana and the Component B of PM-KUSUM Yojana, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

It also includes a complete system warranty and its repair and maintenance, and a remote monitoring system (RMS) for five years.

The LoA is valid for one year, and the installation must be completed within 60 days from the date of issuance of NTP/work order/JSR approval, it said.

In Q2 FY26, the company reported a total income of INR 5,465 million, reflecting a 75.8 percent YoY increase and 6.1 percent QoQ growth. Profit after tax (PAT) for Q2 FY26 was INR 975 million, marking a 48.3 percent YoY and 3 percent QoQ increase, with a healthy PAT margin of 17.8 percent.

“Looking ahead, we have a strong order book exceeding 18,800 pumps consisting of direct PM Kusum, indirect PM Kusum and export orders and a pipeline of over 30,000 pumps across major states including Maharashtra, Haryana, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. These orders, along with the robust pipeline, position us well to achieve our FY26 targets,” stated Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Oswal Pumps, while announcing the Q2 FY26 results.

He further added, “Additionally, we anticipate the launch of PM Kusum 2.0 before the end of this fiscal. Given our integrated business model and strong execution capabilities, we are well placed to leverage the opportunities that will arise from this upcoming program.”
