Haryana-based vertically integrated solar pump manufacturer Oswal Pumps has reported an 88.2 percent YoY growth in revenue in FY25 clocking a total income of INR 14,329 million up from INR 7,612 million in FY24. The company’s profit after tax (PAT) soared to INR 2,806 million from INR 977 million in FY24, marking a growth of 187.3 percent.

In Q4 FY25, the company reported a total income of INR 3,656 million, registering a growth of 58.4 percent YoY. The PAT also surged by 123.5 percent YoY to INR 639 million.

Last month, the company raised INR 1,387.34 crore through initial public offering (IPO) to fund its expansion including setting up of new manufacturing units, for its wholly-owned subsidiary Oswal Solar, at Karnal, Haryana.

Commenting on the results, Vivek Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Oswal Pumps, said, “The company delivered strong performance in the year gone by, with total Income rising by 88.2 percent year-over-year to INR 14,329 million. EBITDA for the full year grew by 176.5 percent to INR 4,225 million from INR 1,528 million in FY24, resulting in an EBITDA Margin of 29.5 percent, reflecting a 941-basis point improvement year-over-year. Profit After Tax (PAT) for FY25 reached INR 2,806 million, with a PAT Margin of 19.6 percent, up 675 basis points from FY24.”

He further added that EBITDA margin for Q4 FY25 was lower by 2.2 percent as compared to the full-year FY25 primarily due to change in the sales mix. “Share of direct Kusum sales fell by 11 percent (higher margin vertical) while the share of external module sales increased by 12 percent (lower margin vertical), leading to an overall lower margin for the quarter,” he explained.

“In 2021, we began offering Turnkey Solar Pumping Systems, which include solar-powered agricultural pumps, solar modules, mounting structures, pump controllers, and installation services. These are provided either directly or through third-party bidders under the PM Kusum Scheme. As of June 30, 2025, we have successfully executed 48,915 Turnkey Solar Pumping System orders directly under the PM Kusum Scheme,” shared Gupta.
