Osiris Energy, a global manufacturer and marketer of small wind turbine systems, announced that the company will exhibit its world-class Osiris turbines at GLOBALCON 2014. This inspiring platform is presented by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA from Apr. 09 to Apr. 10, 2014.
Osiris 10 small wind turbine system adopts big wind technologies to small wind, including such advanced features: Triple pitch control mechanism, Carbon fiber re-enforced 9.7m blades, Ultra low rated 120 RPM direct drive PMG and Real-time monitoring and remote control functions.
Third Party Independent Testing: The Osiris 10 achieved certification to the American Wind Energy Association AWEA 9.1 standard from Intertek, a nationally recognized testing laboratory. The turbine exceeded the standard’s duration test criteria of 90% with an impressive overall operational time of 99.6%. Additionally, the turbine has achieved IEC 61400-2 certification. The Interstate Turbine Advisory Council (ITAC) added the Osiris 10 to its Unified List of wind turbines for qualified state incentives in the US.
Highest Annual Energy Production: With the large blade diameter of 9.7 meters, the wide swept area of 74 square meters, as well as competitive pricing, Osiris 10 offers the shortest payback period in the 10kW small wind turbine class. At 6m/s, Osiris 10 annual production reaches 33,000 kWh.
