OSEA, the biennial tradeshow for the offshore Oil & Gas market and its supporting industries, in its Platinum Edition (20th) scheduled from 2 – 5 December 2014 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, will welcome Indian participants from Windlass Engineers & Services, Rotex Manufacturers and Engineers, Sungov Engineering, Reliance Industries, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), and Markets and Markets.

Windlass Engineers & Services, Rotex Manufacturers and Engineers and Sungov Engineering will be highlighting a range of products and solutions ranging from oilfield equipment to valves to fluid filtration and separation equipment at the exhibition.  Separately, ONGC, Reliance Industries and MarketsandMarkets, a research services firm, will be participating at the OSEA2014 International Conference, held alongside the exhibition, to offer an Indian perspective on topics such as new technologies for unconventional and deepwater environments, trends in deepwater flow assurance and future role of LNG for Asia.

The previous edition of OSEA in 2012 saw more than 150 attendees from India who represented companies such as Arya Offshore Services, Chelikam Oil & Gas India, G&T Oil States Industries, Galperti India, Libraa Offshore, Maersk Global Service Centres (ndia), Reliance Power, Siemag Industries, Tyco Fire & Security India, Valveworks India, Western India Forgings and many others.

“We are looking at a possible energy crunch in the foreseeable future, given the fast-rising global consumption of oil and gas. Consequently, the need to stay abreast of industry shifts and technological advancements has never been more important,” says Mr. Chua Buck Cheng, Project Director of Engineering Events at Singapore Exhibition Services.  “We have designed OSEA to exactly pinpoint these trends and provide the industry with what’s needed in order to advance, and face the oncoming challenges.”

With about three months to its opening day, OSEA2014 has already witnessed a 20 per cent growth in the participation of international exhibitors compared to its previous edition in 2012 and the event continues to expand its exhibition space to cater to industry’s demands. 15 international group pavilions will be present, including two new groups from Korea and Taiwan.

Regular stalwarts such as the Association of Dutch Oil and Gas Suppliers (IRO), Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI), China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation (CPTDC), Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, Franklin, Gazprom, Gaylin, JD Neuhaus, Keppel FELS, Kwong Soon, MTQ, Sea & Land Technologies and Trisome will be accompanied by contingent of first-time exhibitors, including Alfagomma, Fujikin, Hagemeyer, Jebsen & Jessen, the Korean International Trade Association (KITA), ST Teleport, Tanken, the World Trade Centre Taichung (WTCT) and many more.

International and regional experts to give their thoughts on industry’s future:

In the rapidly changing energy landscape where oil and gas reserves are hanging in the balance, industry players are looking at more sustainable and effective ways of managing their current reserves, as well as finding new sources of oil and gas. New technologies are needed in exploration, extracting, processing, storing, and even transporting oil and gas.

Featuring a new theme “Unlocking the Full Potential of Offshore Reserves with Innovative Solutions”, the Conference has 10 tracks to address pertinent topics such as the future outlook for oil and gas supply and exploration, resource management through oilfield recovery, latest developments and technologies in unconventional and deepwater environments, as well as two workshops focusing on best practices in drilling & well design and asset integrity management.
