ORSL’s R&D Centre in Navi Mumbai Secures NABL Accreditation
Organic Recycling Systems (ORSL) has secured NABL accreditation for its Navi Mumbai Research and Innovation Centre, strengthening its technical credibility and opening new revenue streams in testing, validation, and collaborative R&D.

The accreditation enables ORSL to offer globally accepted, independent testing and validation services, significantly expanding the commercial and revenue-generating scope of its R&D infrastructure, the company said.
Commenting on the development, Dr. Manju Tanwar, Chief Scientist and Head – Research and Development, ORSL, added, “This accreditation validates the scientific rigor, systems, and technical competence of our laboratory team. It allows us to expand from internal R&D into advanced testing, technology validation, and collaborative research for the wider industry. The RIC will now act as a knowledge and innovation hub supporting faster technology adoption, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance across the sector.”
With this accreditation, ORSL's RIC is positioned to generate incremental and recurring revenues through third-party testing and certification, technology validation and performance benchmarking, and sponsored research, pilot trials, and collaborative R&D with academic institutions and industry partners, it said.
ORSL stated that NABL-accredited laboratories play a critical role in ensuring data reliability, regulatory compliance, and performance assurance, particularly for large-scale waste management, compressed biogas, and renewable energy projects. ORSL's accredited RIC strengthens its ability to support stakeholders across the project lifecycle with credible and standardised testing outcomes, it said.
