Orient Solar, a brand of ADM Solar Power and Infrastructure, has launched its cutting-edge N-Type TOPCon Bi-Facial (G-TB) PV modules at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025.
The newly introduced N-Type TOPCon modules come with a module efficiency of up to 23.27 percent, powered by 16BB – M10R N-Type cells. These modules boast a bifaciality factor of 80 percent ± 10 percent, enabling additional power generation from the rear side, especially in reflective surface installations such as rooftops and ground-mount systems.
N-Type TOPCon represents the next evolutionary leap in solar cell technology. Unlike conventional P-Type cells, N-Type cells are doped with phosphorus instead of boron, making them resistant to Light-Induced Degradation (LID) and LeTID, while offering superior efficiency and temperature tolerance.
The TOPCon structure enhances carrier passivation and reduces recombination losses, allowing for higher conversion efficiency and stable long-term performance. These features make N-Type TOPCon the preferred choice for high-performance solar projects, particularly in India’s diverse and demanding environmental conditions.
These next-generation solar modules are designed to deliver superior efficiency, durability, and returns across large-scale, C&I, and subsidy solar projects, asserted the company.
Each module is backed by comprehensive certifications — ALMM, BIS, and IEC — reaffirming compliance with global quality and safety standards. “Orient Solar also offers one of the most robust warranties in the market: 10 years for product and 30 years for performance, ensuring long-term reliability for project developers and investors alike,” said the company.
ADM Solar Power and Infrastructure operates an 800 MW fully automated solar module manufacturing facility, integrating advanced robotic systems and precision quality control for consistent output and superior reliability.
With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and ‘Make in India’, ADM Solar offers a comprehensive portfolio of solar PV modules — from Mono PERC to the latest N-Type TOPCon — serving diverse market segments including utility-scale, C&I, KUSUM, and rooftop solar projects, stated the company.
