Oriana Power Secures INR 214.80 Crore EPC Contract for 50 MW Rajasthan Solar Projects

Oriana Power Ltd. has received an Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) contract worth INR 214.80 crore, from a leading player in the cement industry for the setting up and development of solar power projects with an aggregate capacity of 50 MW in Rajasthan.

Under the contract, Oriana Power will provide engineering, procurement and commissioning services for the 50 MW solar power projects. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and carries an execution period of nine months.

In addition to the EPC scope, Oriana Power will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the solar projects for 10 years from the commercial operation date (COD) and subsequent handover.

The latest order strengthens Oriana Power’s solar project execution pipeline and expands its EPC business in Rajasthan, one of India’s key renewable energy markets.

Meanwhile, Oriana Power  has also secured Letters of Award worth INR 94.51 crore, from Bellwether Energy Pvt. Ltd. and its group companies BW V Energy Pvt. Ltd., BW I Energy Pvt. Ltd. and BW III Energy Pvt. Ltd.for EPC services for ground mounted solar projects in Bihar. The projects have a combined capacity of 25.138 MW AC and 31.423 MWp DC and will be developed across Barhat, MangoBandar, Shankarpur, Murliganj, Goradih, Dhuraiya, Jagdishpur and Manikpur. The contracts are to be executed within six months from the respective award dates.
