Oriana Power Secures 75 MW(AC) Solar Project from MSEDCL

Oriana Power Ltd. has secured a contract to construct a 75 MW(AC) solar power plant for MSEDCL in Maharashtra, with an estimated cost of INR 375 crore, supported by a subsidy of approximately INR 78 crore under the PM-KUSUM Scheme.

Oriana Power Ltd. has secured a contract for a 75 MW(AC) Solar power plant from MSEDCL, Maharashtra. The estimated cost of construction is INR 375 crore.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 12 months and will be implemented by a separate entity incorporated/to be incorporated by Oriana Power Ltd directly or through its subsidiaries, the company informed in a regulatory filing.

It involves the implementation of feeder-level solarisation under Component C of the PM-KUSUM Scheme with land and transmission lines etc.

“We are pleased to announce that the project has been granted CFA (subsidy) of approx. INR 78 crore. It will be disbursed as per the terms and conditions of the order, further enhancing its viability and enabling us to deliver cost-effective solutions,” mentioned the filing.

Oriana Power focuses on providing solar energy solutions for industrial and commercial clients, offering both on-site projects, such as rooftop and ground-mounted systems, and off-site solar farms.
